LOL offers Wireless Radio Broadband Internet
Service to Lewistown and some surrounding areas. In order to qualify
for this type of service, you must have line of sight from your
residence to one of our local radio repeaters (within 10 miles). To
determine if you qualify, we will need to perform a site survey of
the proposed location. Please call us at 538-7891 ext 10, to schedule
an appointment!
If you do qualify, then we will need to determine how far from the
repeater you are. If you are more than 3 miles from the repeater, we
will need to put up equipment that has amplified signal in order to
assure you a quality connection.
After that, we will need to install the
correct equipment. There is a one time installation charge of either
400$ or 500$. The price difference reflects how far from the
repeater you are. The rental price of the equipment is included in
your monthly fee for a combo account.
Our monthly residential wireless combo
account for 45$/month includes:
- 3 email boxes
- 20 MB of space on our web server
- 20 MB of space on our mail server
- Unlimited access
- Single
IP address
(static or dynamic at our discretion.)
- Data Transfer of up to 1 GB/month
- A qualified Technician Installation (The
one time installation fee)
- Lease on the Equipment
Please note that this type of broadband is
not suitable for hosting a private web server on.
Additional services:
- each GB of transfer over normal is 15$
per month
- each additional email address is 2$ per
month
- each static ip address is 1$ per month
- each additional MB of space on the web
server is .10$ per month
The subscriber agrees not to use
M.I.C.'s server to generate or send any unsolicited commercial email
(SPAM).
There is also a firewall option available.
For a one time fee of 100$, we will install a Linksys, NetGear,
D-Link, or SMC router/firewall, and maintain it for a 5$ a month
fee. |
